Being clutter free and feeling pulled to share what she’d learned, Sarah created simple + intentional.
KIM MORRISON
Hygge isn’t a work. It’s a concept. A feeling. A state of conscious connectedness. There is no translation. It just is. Hygge calls for embracing the ordinary, enjoying the everyday, being in the moment. Most importantly, you’re creating calm so you can enjoy the company of others. Kim found the Danish practice of hygge (most closely translated to ‘coziness’ in English) encourages her to seek margin in her life. Practicing hygge helps Kim to slow down, pause, reflect, and embrace the everyday, ordinary routines of life with a heart of gratitude. It is her delight to hygge together in small, intimate, cozy gatherings with women –over a meal, enjoying a cup of tea, creating, talking plants, sharing TBR lists, or circling up at a bonfire.
